Connect your Amazon Alexa or Google Home smart speaker directly to Gatecrasher and in doing so, you can enjoy the unmatched convenience of voice control with Gatecrasher’s high-fidelity stereo sound. Beginning summer 2018, the Amazon Alexa voice control functionality will be incorporated directly into Gatecrasher by way of a free, automatic firmware update giving an Alexa device direct Wi-Fi voice control of Gatecrasher.
Operation
For ease of use, Gatecrasher boasts an intuitive color-coded, backlit top-panel control pad. The unit can also be controlled via the free downloadable Atlantic Technology Gatecrasher App for iOS or Android devices. Plus if you are a Spotify subscriber Gatecrasher can also be controlled by the Spotify Connect App.
Performance
Gatecrasher contains a precisely-tuned 2.1 speaker system with a separate woofer and tweeter for each channel, combined with a built-in subwoofer and down-firing Auxiliary Bass Radiator for dynamic, wide-range sound that defies its size. A switchable Wide Expansion mode enhances the spatial imaging of the two separate speakers within the single solid-MDF wood cabinet.
